Your favourite era in electronic music?
For me it is house from 89 - 90, and the techstep drum and bass stuff around 97 - 99.

I used to knock about with some of the younger tidy trax lot back then branded. Looking back am surprised my arsehole virginity remained intact. Was a good little scene though, bit of a punk ethos

Re: Your favourite era in electronic music?
Yeah. Mixture of northern monkies, shirtlifters and antipodeans. All took masses of E and raved all night. No ponsyness or posturing. Just drugs and dancing. Nukleuz was a much better label.

The 90s. To be honest, the output of Warp Records alone takes some beating, particularly 95-2000.

Aphex - I Care and RDJ LP
Autechre - LP5
Plaid - Not For Threes
Squarepusher - Big Loada

Seminal stuff.
